The unit is intended to be operated from a 115 or 230 Vac single phase power supply. The input AC supply frequency is 50 or 60 Hz nominal. Full rated output power is guaranteed between the Minimum Full Performance Voltage and the Maximum Operating Voltage. The unit operates with frequency variations up to +/-10 percent of the nominal value.

The VSM-1 offers three programmable variable speeds from 600 to 3450 RPM, allowing the user to easily identify and set the appropriate speed to minimize energy consumption and lower the overall cost of pool ownership while maintaining a proper pool environment. Pool size, the presence of additional water features, chemical maintenance needs, and environmental factors all play into the equation, and each pool has unique requirements. The programming flexibility offered by the V-Green 165 allows pool owners to easily identify and adjust the speed and duration settings needed to maintain the pool and maximize energy savings.

The highly versatile VSM-1 motor is available in square flange and C-face flange for use with pool pumps. Regardless of the manufacturer, installation on most pumps is as simple as replacing a standard single-speed motor with no additional wiring or plumbing required.
